Call for Nominations - Outstanding Philanthropist and Foundation in Maryland, Youth Fundraisers & Unsung Heroes!

National Philanthropy Day in Maryland pays tribute to the invaluable contributions that philanthropy has made to our personal lives, our nation, and the world. This annual event acknowledges the entire spectrum of services provided by the nonprofit community and recognizes the profound impact that philanthropy has on the quality of our lives and the fabric of our society.

AFP-Maryland is currently seeking nominations as we prepare to honor an Outstanding Philanthropist and Foundation in Maryland, as well as Outstanding Youth Fundraisers and Unsung Heroes.  Learn more about how you can nominate someone.


AFP Maryland is your source for professional development. More than 400 members and other development professionals meet frequently to learn from AFP-International’s resources and participate in a range of chapter offerings, including: 

Regular programs and events that provide a wide range of education and training and opportunities for networking; Roundtables to connect with peers around topics of interest and relevance; Mentoring that brings experienced professionals together with those new to fundraising or who want to learn a new skill; a local Job Bank for job seekers; and an annual Fundraising Day conference and National Philanthropy Day celebration.
