AFP Maryland is proud to recognize the great contributions of philanthropy and those people active in the philanthropic community during National Philanthopy Day in Maryland. Outstanding Philanthopists, Foundations, plus Outstanding Youth Fundraisers and Unsung Heroes will be honored at National Philanthropy Day in Maryland on November 10, 2015. Nomination deadline for both awards is June 30, 2015.

Outstanding Youth Fundraisers
Do you work with youth in Maryland? Do you know students who have done something good for their community and want to see them recognized for their philanthropic talents? If you answered yes to these questions, please submit your nomination(s) for the 2015 Outstanding Youth Fundraiser Awards!

Students in elementary school through high school are eligible for this award. Students are not required to raise funds through a school-related project. Students' fundraising may be connected to clubs, organizations, scouting troops, schools and more. You may also nominate groups of students who worked together on a fundraising project.

AFP Maryland's Unsung Hero award offers you a chance to publicly honor those who do so much for philanthropy in our communities who may not be recognized for their work. Please consider nominating an individual who has demonstrated exceptional commitment to volunteer for fundraising projects that have benefited your charitable organization, and please note either their years or hours of service. Nominations should also demonstrate impact, as well as the ability to motivate others to support philanthropic causes.
